Couscous with tomato salsa and tuna


  • 250g of Panzani Couscous
  • 600g tuna
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp chopped basil
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 chilli pepper
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparations steps

  • 1. Prepare the Couscous according to the instructions on the package. Roast the pine nuts in a dry pan.
  • 2. Remove the seeds from tomatoes, peel the red onion, cut the chilli and the red pepper in half and remove the seeds. Dice the vegetables and toss together.
  • 3. Add crushed garlic, basil, cilantro, parsley, nuts, a pinch of salt, pepper, lime juice and olive oil.
  • 4. Gently mix the tomato salsa with the Couscous.
  • 5. Sauté the tuna steak in a pan with a dash of oil for about one minute on each side. The steak will be cooked rare at this point. If you wish, you can cook it a little further.
